WHAT ARE IMPLANT DENTURES & PARTIALS?

Implant dentures and partials are similar in form to traditional dentures and partial dentures, but they have been secured by dental implants. Depending on each individual’s needs, the denture or partial may be secured with four to six dental implants.

HOW DO IMPLANTS HELP DENTURES?

Dental implants are used for long-lasting dental restorations. We use them with our complete and partial dentures to keep the dentures in place and prevent loose “floating” around the mouth. This helps improve both the comfort and function of the denture or partial.

HOW LONG WILL THIS TREATMENT TAKE?

Implant-supported dentures or partials will require multiple visits with our dentists. After an initial consultation, the dental implant posts will be placed in the jawbone. A period of healing is required after the implants are placed, after which we will schedule you to come in for your complete or partial dental restoration. The total time for this treatment can vary depending on the individual and the number of dental implants needed, but this restoration leads to results that can last a lifetime.
